Canada Refugee & Asylum Program

The United Nations defines a convention refugee as a person who has fled their home country because of well-founded fear of persecution based on Political opinion, Nationality, Race, Religion and Social group. A protected person, on the other hand, is someone who cannot return to their home country because they would be at risk of torture, death, or other serious harm. The Canadian refugee and asylum program offers immigration opportunities to these people.

People who are at risk of being persecuted for their race, ethnicity, religion, political views, or social group activities can benefit from this program, allowing you to live and work in Canada as a free individual without fearing for your life. Mayur Immigration Consultancy Ltd. helps you to file your application.

The basic steps that you will need to follow include:

If you’re applying for refugee status, you must be outside of Canada. If you’re applying for protected person status, you can apply from inside or outside of Canada as well. If you’re a refugee, you may be eligible for refugee protection if you’re afraid to return to your home country because of persecution, war, or violence. The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) or the Canadian government may have already determined that you’re a refugee.

If, however, you’re a protected person, you may be eligible for protected person status if you’re unable to return to your home country because of a well-founded fear of persecution. If you have dependent children, they must be included in your application. Let us help you and your family move to safety and get a Canada visa for a better life!
